Can your current business offer you genuine fast track to FD level in the next 2 – 3 years?  During that time will they have doubled in size?

Do you have the freedom to develop the reporting and MI to suit the needs of the business in an environment where you will be fully recognised and rewarded for your efforts?  Are you currently welcomed to the senior management and board meetings?

This role has initial support from a consultant FD but it is hoped you will develop swiftly and step into the FD role in the next couple of years.  You will ideally be mid or late stages CIMA (or recently qualified) and have a solid academic track record.  You will need a firm baseline of core management accounting / financial reporting skills and have the self confidence to step into a highly visible role in a growing SME.

This is a modern, data-hungry business and the directors have a real thirst for information.  You’ll help provide the reporting and MI to assist them in driving further success.  You will be given support and mentoring but lots of freedom to develop and progress.  This is a role for a highly ambitious, hands on and confident finance professional who expects to qualify in the next 1-2 years and wants to fast track into an FD role in a modern SME.

You will need:

• A proven track record as management accountant within a professional and diverse business.
• Excellent analytical skills including advanced Excel.
• ACCA or CIMA (qualified or part qualified).
• Confident, clear and professional communication skills and natural ability to work closely with senior leaders / senior managers.
• A major drive to learn and to progress your own career at a swift pace.
• Diligence and natural attention to detail – it would suit someone who takes real pride in delivering accurate numbers to deadlines.
• A good sense of humour and a calm, measured approach to problem solving.
