Group FP&A Manager

Our client, a leading business in UK retail, is looking for a qualified accountant with 3-5 years post-qualified experience to join them as Group FP&A Manager.

The successful candidate will be ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified with strong technical financial accounting knowledge and will ideally have a couple of years post-qualified experience in FP&A. This would be ideally suited to an ACA qualified with a strong technical financial accounting background who is looking to build on this and further develop their FP&A and business partnering experience. Alternatively you could be an audit senior looking to make your first move from practice or someone looking to step up to a senior manager position in industry. 

This is a broad role with a blend of group financial accounting and commercial FP&A.

Responsibilities will include:

• Reporting to Group Financial Controller and working closely with CFO
• Managing small team (3-4 people)
• Preparation of group consolidated statutory accounts and managing of annual audit
• Monthly Group Reporting and commentary
• Responsibility for group's banking and financing relationships
• Corporation tax forecasting and compliance
• Budgeting & forecasting
• Financial planning including 5 year plan
• Business partnering with operations and strategic decision-making process
