Finance Business Partner - 9 Month FTC

Elevation Senior Finance is currently recruiting an Interim Reporting Finance Manager on behalf of a Global organisation in Leeds. Reporting to the Head of Finance you will lead the management reporting process preparing complex management accounting information and ensure all outputs are accurate, timely and understood by key stakeholders.

This is a 9 Month FTC with an employer that offers the flexibility to work from home for the duration of the contract if required.

Key Responsibilities include:

-Ensuring that all management reporting requirements are met on a timely basis and that reported information is accurate and supported with insightful commentaries
-Coordinating all regular and ad-hoc management reporting requests ensuring accountability and deadlines are clearly communicated to the wider department
-Supporting the review of the consolidated monthly management accounts for multiple companies
-Ensuring strict compliance with IFRS accounting standards and Group accounting policies to the acceptance of all stakeholders including external auditors and internal finance management
-Taking initiative when required to ensure management are in receipt of all information needed to fully understand the financial position of the business, including profit, cash and balance sheet, regardless of the information requested
-Supporting the statutory financial reporting process through the timely resolution of all requests received from external auditors and through the provision of statutory accounting inputs as requested
-Supporting the budgeting and forecasting activities as required including coordination of all inputs, deadlines and reporting requirements
-Supporting the other Finance Managers and Senior Team to meet their deliverables as requested
-Adhering to internal processes and risk frameworks in addition to leading system, process and policy change as required

Experience:

-ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
-Experience of working for large organisations
-Strong analytical and forecasting skills
-Technical accounting skills
-Clarity of vision and ability to drive change
-Effective team leadership skills
-Advanced Excel skills and experience in other financial systems
-Proven experience in financial and management accounting
-Experience of working in a regulated environment
