Senior Accountant job Farnham Surrey ACA ACCA
Your new company
My client is a well established and well known sole practitioner in the heart of Farnham, Surrey. He and the firm are heavily involved with supporting the local community, demonstrating their culture and approach to the area. They offer a full range of services to their clients and they are looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team
Your new role
You will
- Prepare statutory accounts under FRS 105 and 102 for a varied range of clients
- Review the work of juniors
- Complete Corporate Tax returns for your clients
- Prepare personal tax returns when required
- Assist with audits as needed
- Clients range from owner managed businesses, sole traders, partnerships and limited companies of various size.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be ACA or ACCA qualified, part qualified, or qualified by experience. You will have previous experience of working within an accountancy firm, in a mixed practice role, with exposure to accounts, audit and tax. My client uses IRIS, Sage, Quickbooks and Xero. Working knowledge of these systems would be beneficial.
What you'll get in return
Under normal circumstance my client offers 1 day a week working from home with other degrees of flexibility as needed and can be discussed at interview. Currently there is a mix of office attendance depending on your preference. You will receive a salary dependant on your experience and study support if needed. The office is a sociable team with regular catch ups and drinks (when restrictions allow).
