Group FP&A Manager | £50,000 - £55,000 | Preston (blended remote working)

The Opportunity

You’ll enjoy working with a modern-thinking and growing large group which is recognised as one of the region's best employers.

This is a pivotal role within group finance focused on leading and evolving the Group financial planning and analysis function.  There is an interesting balance of "business as usual" coupled with ad hoc projects surrounding improvement and development.

The core remit will include (for both group and subsidiaries) : mid and long range budgeting (and group consolidation), planning, group performance benchmarking and reporting, cashflow forecasting, detailed financial modelling and scenario planning.

You will enjoy exposure to all things FP&A and you will present consolidated packs and summaries for group / board level review.

• This is a hands on role and the right candidate must be comfortable digging down into the detail but also enjoying presentation of key top line information to board level within a professional and expanding group.
• You will need to be a qualified finance professional with excellent technical / reporting skills.  You will ideally have previous experience of leading Group FP&A requirements within a reasonably diverse and complex organisation.
• You will be comfortable leading on the group annual budgeting process and have previous experience of consolidations.
• You will be someone who can naturally spot areas for improvement and take a proactive stance when it comes to developing reporting, strengthening controls and improving efficiencies/ accuracies.
