Finance Systems Manager

The Finance Systems Manager is a key role in the business that provides financial accounting, budget and forecast information across the business.

The role will supervise a small team of analysts and will work with third parties to ensure that changes to master data (Chart of Accounts, costs centres, etc) are properly managed in the financial consolidation system and aligned across all Corporate Finance systems.

Description

* Review proposed changes to corporate finance master data and ensure the changes are appropriate and consistent with group accounting policy and are properly authorised.
* Review changes to role profile and related access control requests for appropriateness.
* Work in partnership with IT (and external providers) to ensure a robust operational control environment to support the accounting close and other corporate finance outputs
* Work closely with other data managers within the company to improve the quality and use of company master data.
* Work closely with the ERP programme to ensure corporate finance master data is enhanced and leveraged across other finance system as appropriate.

Profile

* Minimum 3-5 years finance system experience with significant exposure to data management and/or access controls
* System Development experience - exposure to managing master data in a systems development environment and designing application controls
* Experience of designing and implementing system access controls
* Experienced in working with third parties and working with IT teams
* Line management experience
* Relevant business experience in a complex, global, fast moving multi-faceted company
* Proven ability to deliver to deadlines

Job Offer

Salary between: 65k - 75k + 20% bonus + comprehensive benefits.
