Finance Manager - Consultancy
Your new company
A leading, highly acquisitive consultancy based in London. Over the last few years, they have made a number of acquisitions and are now looking for a Finance Manager to join the team. If you're looking to join a high performing team with exposure to acquisition accounting this is a great opportunity.
Your new role
The role itself is newly created, it will report into the FC and you will have a few direct reports. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Assist with day-to-day management of the 20 strong Finance team
- Day-to-day management of the team's production of timely & accurate monthly management accounts
- Reviewing & posting of monthly journals for accrued and deferred revenue, accruals, depreciation, prepayments, operating expenses etc
- Review team's monthly balance sheet reconciliations ensuring that they are up-to-date and accurate
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed, you will have an accounting qualification (ACA, CA, ACCA, CIMA) with strong management accounting experience, ready for your next step. If you have management experience, that will be a bonus. You will be driven to work for an acquisitive company where the finance function is collaborative and sociable.
What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive a competitive salary of up to £60,000 + 20% bonus. You will be part of a growing, dynamic finance function and get exposure to acquisition accounting. You will work closely with 3 impressive Financial Controllers and a CFO.
