We are working with a leading management consultancy expanding their Financial Services advisory practice - particularly focused within the M&A space.
Client Details
Leading Management Consultancy M&A team focusing on the Financial Services sector based in London. The business is rapidly expanding this practice and looking for individuals who will join at the Manager or Associate Director level who have the scope to grow with the business into Director and Partner roles.
Description
You will work on high profile acquisitions, disposals and carve outs for prominent clients in the financial services sector (both trade and private equity). Thus, you will be advising and assisting key clients in making informed decisions regarding transactions.Key responsibilities include- Lead on high quality client engagements within planned timescalesProject managing multiple work streams (e. tax, operations and pensions) Leading on identifying and developing innovative approaches to add value (e. analytics)Lead or co-lead pitches and proposals for engagements and develop and maintain long-term client relationshipsLeading and developing service offerings and evolving propositions to drive practice growthDeveloping an understanding of the target business model and drivers for clientsInterpretation and analysis of financial and commercial information and delivering to our clients in a clear, concise and palatable way both in writing and verbalReviewing historical and forecast trading performance, cash flows and working capital and balance sheetLeading training and developing team members in role and managing diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution
Profile
We seek candidates with relevant Financial Services Advisory experience. However, if you have the relevant skills outlined but in a different sector do still apply as we are looking to bolster other practice areas for this client but on a less urgent timeframe.
Previous M&A experience within FS. It is likely you will be ACA qualified.High level report writing and reviewing skills, with focus on attention to detail, conciseness and risk managementExperience of operating credibly with senior level stakeholdersExperience in leading business development, from opportunity identification to conversion into sales and managing client relationshipsFull travel mobilityQuick and accurate manipulation of data and commercial acumenJob Offer
