Group Finance Controller

Greenwell Gleeson have been retained to recruit a Group Finance Controller for a PE backed service business well set for future growth. Working in a key leadership position you will be required to take responsibility for the smooth running of all aspects of the finance function, ensuring timely and accurate reporting and ownership of the production of the consolidated statutory accounts. In addition you will have responsibility for the cash flow forecasting and managing the banking and other external stakeholder relationship. The company are already ahead of 2021 forecast and will continue to grow significantly both organically though M&A and there will be a requirement to support the commercial activities, support M&A, integrate new acquisitions as well as holistically support the transitioning of the business from a SME to larger national entity. To be successful in the role you will need to be technically excellent, have experience of a leadership role within a finance function, have the ability to drive process improvements and best practice across the finance function. Previous experience of working in a multi site / multi P&L business and exposure to working in a fast paced PE environment would be advantageous.
