Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working alongside a leading energy supplier based in the Leeds Area as they look to recruit a Credit Analyst / Support Coordinator This is a fantastic opportunity for either an experienced Credit Analyst or a Credit Controller who has experience with reporting to join a fantastic business and gain exposure working in a busy finance team.
Duties & Responsibilities of the Credit Analyst will include:
* Handling complex customer queries, internal investigation and follow up through to resolution stage within a given timescale
* Liaising with internal stakeholders and customers to conclude all queries in a timely manner
* Log all incoming queries onto internal database
* Controlling customer payment deductions (contra's and debit notes)
* Ensuring requests for documentation are fulfilled to minimise delay to scheduled payment terms (copy invoices / applications and POD's)
* Preparing monthly full site reconciliation to support application process
* Identifying and resolving data variations
* Monthly analysis of customer deductions and query levels reporting
* Preparing monthly backing documentation for application process for submission to customer
* Fortnightly statement preparation
* Collating data for analysis
The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experiences:
Skills required:
- Strong analytical experience and previously worked with large amounts of data
- Strong Excel (Look Ups & Pivot Tables)
- Educated to degree level ideally in Maths, Accounting, Finance or Economics
- A background in reporting
- Experience of working in a Credit function within the manufacturing industry
