Your new company

To manage the group's financial function and contribute to the achievement of business objectives by; providing strategic and financial guidance to ensure that the company's financial commitments are met, by developing all necessary policies and procedures to ensure the sound financial management and control of the company's business and, as part of the executive leadership team, contribute to the operational leadership.

Your new role:

  • Preparation of monthly financial information.
  • Direct and control finance staff
  • Contribute to the achievement of the company's business objectives by providing advice and guidance on financial strategy.
  • Develop and control the company's annual operating budget to ensure that all financial targets are met and financial and statutory regulations complied with.
  • Provide financial advice and guidance to the company's managers and staff to enable them to achieve their objectives.
  • Oversee the preparation of the company's financial accounts to ensure that these are presented accurately and on time, showing projected revenues, costs, funding requirements and operational targets.
  • Ensure that the company has adequate working capital resource by preparing cash flow targets on a regular basis.
  • Develop and implement an internal audit programme to ensure that the company complies with financial procedures and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain all necessary systems, policies and procedures to ensure effective and efficient financial management within the company.
  • Carry out company secretary duties.
  • Monitor external contracts and services
  • Carry out all necessary actions to ensure that the company meets its financial and legal obligations.
  • Ensure that the company has sufficient and appropriate insurance cover.
  • Assist the MD with new developments.
  • Ensure that all regulatory and statutory requirements are met and company policies and procedures are adhered to.
  • Maintain the register of the Group's assets.
  • Ensure that the cost and revenue strategy is aligned with the company vision
  • Work tax efficiently to support on tax planning and recommend the most effective company structures
  • Work with external tax advisors on tax compliance and the preparation of corporation tax returns.
  • Ensure effective and efficient IT and communications systems.
  • Work on acquisitions and new developments
  • Ensuring effective cash flow for projects.



What you'll need to succeed

A fully qualified FD with extensive senior level accountancy experience.
Significant senior leadership experience and a proven track record of leading, empowering, supporting and motivating successful teams.
