An Accountancy Graduate is required for this prestigious organisation based in Slough, Berkshire. Reporting to the Finance Manager this will provide you with the opportunity to learn about multiple aspects of finance and accounting.
Key responsibilities of the Accountancy Graduate include :
1. Responsible for the preparation and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts ensuring that they are complete, accurate and valid
2. Responsible for the monthly intercompany and related party reporting
3. Allocation of the payment element of cash reporting associated with the bank account/general ledger
4. Assisting the month end reporting process: posting journal vouchers, reconciliation and analyses of data, etc
5. Allocation of the payment element of cash reporting associated with the bank account/general ledger
6. Processing purchase invoices
7. Processing supplier payment runs
8. Processing employee expense claims
9. Processing of credit card transactions and reconciliation of associated credit card statements
10. Processing supplier payment runs
11. Diligent management and archiving of AP related documents (via on line workflow solution) in accordance with requirements
12. Ensures that all internal control procedures are adhered to with specific reference to approval of invoices and associated authorisation limits
13. Ensuring effective and efficient vendor query management and resolution
14. Responsible for the administration and management of certain BACS and faster payment related processes
15. Participates in projects as required
The ideal candidate will be a Accountancy Graduate with previous Accountancy Experience (could be an Internship) who is looking for a career in Finance who possess good organisation, excellent written and oral communication skills and in return you will receive a salary between £22k-£24k + excellent benefits plus the opportunity to embark on a successful career in Finance.
