Accountancy Recruit are recruiting urgently for a Financial Controller to join a retail firm based just North of Birmingham City centre. They are a very established organisation who are looking to bring in an experienced finance professional to aid their continued growth.
Responsibilities will include:
- Management accounts
- Intrastat/National Stats/VAT reporting
- Forecasting and budgeting
- Purchase ledger and sales ledger control
- Cash flow management
- Maintaining relationships with auditors and stakeholders
- Providing commercial support on non-stock supplier renewals and negotiations
- Providing commercial support on business decisions
- Managing a finance team of 4
- Statutory accounts preparation
Experience required:
- A confident decision maker who always looks to improve processes, controls and reporting
- Ability to operate at a senior level whilst also happy to get involved in all of the accounts teams' duties
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified
- Pegasus opera is desirable
