A business based near Malton is currently recruiting for an Accounts payable Administrator to support their team on a temporary basis.

You will be supporting the transactional finance team during a busy period for the business on an ongoing basis.

Reporting into the Accounts Payable Team Leader you will be responsible for:

Processing invoices efficiently whilst being thorough, checking that all the information has been verifiedTaking phone calls from suppliers and other company sites, and upholding a polite and courteous mannerFocus and ambition to work towards goals and deadlinesSorting the post, reconciling statements and answering supplier and site queriesPresent a professional image to internal and external customers, upholding the positive image of the Shared Service Centre and supporting a strong positive customer relationshipBuild strong working relations with the accounts payable team and broader shared service departmentAssist in producing of weekly KPI performance data, including the use of excel spread-sheetsWork with the accounts payable team leader in the setting of agreed performance targets, and reporting against achievement of targetsAny additional adhoc duties are also expected to be completed in a timely mannerWe are keen to speak with individuals who have previous experience in an Account Payable/Purchase Ledger position and who have previous experience working with accountancy software (SAGE, SAP, Xero, QuickBooks).

You will gain valuable experience working in a large, manufacturing business and will also have the opportunity to apply for permanent roles within the business if you wish.
