About the role
You will provide a high quality, cost effective service to their leaseholders and service charge customers; you must ensure customers are managed in accordance with current legislation, regulation and lease agreement.
You will provide specialist advice and support around service charges to colleagues within the Group and have a strong commitment to customer service and overall service excellence.
By working with Finance and colleagues across the business, you will be part of the setting and monitoring of service charge budgets for schemes, working within the organisation’s annual rent review process; this includes sending out statements as required.
You will be accountable for maximising service charge income across all tenures, whilst offering customers value for money on services and work with Development and Estates in the setting of service charges for new schemes.
About you
The successful candidate must strong commitment and demonstrable evidence of customer service and service excellence and an eye for detail
Educated to GSCE or equivalent or beyond, or with relevant experience, you will ideally have previous experience of setting, monitoring and management of service charges or have worked in a housing finance related environment. You will be familiar with relevant legislation.
You will be responsible for monitoring Shared Ownership and Leasehold accounts and recovering monies owed.
Previous experience of First Tier or Leasehold Valuation Tribunal would be an advantage. You will have a proven track record of meeting deadlines, with the ability to prioritise your own work.
Due to the nature of the role a full, clean driving licence. There will be some evening meetings to attend and occasional weekend working.
