Elevation Senior Finance is currently recruiting a Finance Manager for a thriving organisation based in Keighley.

Reporting to the Finance Director, this role will vary depending on the needs of the business. You will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the finance team you will have duties spanning all accounts areas, along with taking responsibility for the production of various reports.

My client is keen to find a confident and personable qualified accountant with a passion for being involved in the wider business, driving the company forward, and improving the processes and systems within. As a result, they are open to considering both experienced Finance Managers or Accountants seeking that next step in your career.

Duties & Responsibilities:

-The management of financial controls and systems within the Finance department and across the organisation
-The preparation and analysis of management accounting and other financial and reporting information
-The provision of support and advice services to budget holders, managers, and other staff
-Managing and developing members of the financial department
-Liaising with the rest of the business, gaining their support to achieve company objectives
-Oversee company accounts and safeguard company assets
-Production of draft monthly and annual reports
-Ensure accurate and timely preparation of weekly payroll
-Supervise, manage, and motivate a small finance team
-Help develop budgets and financial plans for the company
-Look for cost reduction opportunities
-Completion of HMRC returns
-Manage relationship with company suppliers and customers

The successful applicant will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experiences:

-ACA, ACCA or Cima Qualified
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and able to work to tight deadlines
-Experience in managing/working in a small team
-Demonstrates honesty, integrity, reliability
-High attention to detail
-Strong Excel skills
