Axon Moore are exclusively representing a North West PLC as they look to enhance their Group Division due to significant investment and growth across the Group.
Working as part of the Group division, the Finance Manager role will be integral to the ongoing development and efficiency of Group reporting, whilst providing key support across multiple teams. In this fast paced and dynamic role the successful individual will have excellent visibility across the Group, and will be provided broad opportunities due to ongoing projects within the business.
Working in a high performing team, with a well-trodden path for progression, this is an ideal opportunity for a qualified ACA/ ACCA or CIMA individual looking to move into a broad, and highly visible role.

Key responsibilities
- Oversee and support the month-end process across divisions to ensure reporting is done on time.
- A willingness and desire to gain exposure across various disciples as you support projects due to growth, acquisition or investment.
- Ongoing analysis of month-end procedure, identifying trends, challenges and opportunities for change.
- Ensure high level of integrity across all divisional balance sheets.
- Implement and assess against financial controls, ensuring all divisions are adhering to legal standards.
- Continually look to implement best practice throughout your role and offer solutions when improvements can be made.
- Support the wider team with compliance processes such as audit.
- Support with ad-hoc projects through the team Group team.
- ACA or ACCA Qualified
- Experience of managing a team, either in practice or industry
- Experience working in a fast-paced organisation
- Proven ability to communicate with senior stakeholders
- Excellent excel competency
- Strong planning and organisational skills
