Accounting and Business Advisory Supervisor

A market leading Accountancy Practice is looking to recruit a Supervisor into their Accounting and Business Advisory Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that a portfolio of clients are managed profitably and with the highest standard of service.


Working with a team duties will include:
*Preparation of accounts for all levels from large corporates to SME's
*Year end statutory accounts in advance of audits
*Ensuring jobs are completed within agreed budgets and discussing all material points with the manager/partner and clients
*Taking a hands on supervisory role on assignments
*Briefing junior staff on clients nosiness and assignment instructions
*Attending client meetings ensuring clients receive final accounts, management letter and any adjustment to opening balances
*Maintaining relationships with clients throughout the year
*Identifying client needs and servicing these appropriately
*Monitoring the practice management system reports
*Cross selling services to clients
*Billing accurately and within a timely manner
*Maintaining advanced technical knowledge
*Support and develop staff


Ideally you will have:
*ACA/ACCA qualification and experience in a similar role
*A solid understanding of LLP SORP, Charities SORP and UK GAAP
*A strong understanding of Financial Reporting
*The ability to demonstrate commercial awareness
*Strong accounts production skills
*Excellent communication skills
*Audit experience
