Financial Controller

A privately owned SME rapidly growing by organic and franchise models is seeking to add a new position into their finance team of a strong number two as Financial Controller. Reporting directly to the Group Finance Director and will be a key member of the management team and critical in ensuring the Integrity of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.
Managing a small finance team of 2, your responsibilities will be:

• Monthly Group Financial reporting
• Manage all aspects of VAT & Tax compliance across the Group
• Group Audit coordination, working with Auditors for Annual Accounts sign off
• Responsible for signing off monthly Balance sheet reconciliations
• Monthly Asset reconciliation process
• Supporting the Annual budget & forecasting process
• Issuance of employee P11d’s
• Review of monthly payment runs in connection with cashflow
• Debtor management and billing supervision
• Implementing robust financial processes

The successful candidate will be a qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) with at least 5 years post qualification experience and had previous exposure to management. You should be a self-motivated, driven and a technically strong individual who can adapt quickly to change in a fast paced, lively environment. Experience of Sage would be an advantage but not essential. It is a progressive role that will expand as the business expands in the coming years with increased responsibility.
