Senior Management Accountant

Elevation Recruitment Group are currently looking for a Qualified Accountant to join a leading manufacturing business based near Goole. The business has had an excellent trading year and is continuing to go from strength to strength so this is an excellent time to join them.

Reporting straight into the Head of Finance, the purpose of the role is oversee a team of 3-4, streamline financial processes, analyse costs across the production process and implement cost saving initiatives to maximise profitability. There will also be regular opportunity to get out into the business and work closely with non-financial stakeholders.

Key duties and responsibilities will include:

- Assisting with the financial control of manufacturing
- Monthly Management Accounts along with analysis and commentary
- Responsible for Yearly budgets / forecasting / re-forecasting
- Full standard costing review & implementation
- Attending & presenting at monthly Management / Operational meetings
- Monitor capital spend
- Managing a team of 3 - 4 people

The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experiences:

* CIMA/ACA/ACCA Qualified (Qualified by Experience will also be considered)
* Extensive data analysis experience and understanding of financials
* Strong excel and systems skills
* An understanding of standard costing is highly desirable for this role (Manufacturing sector experience)
