Salary: £65 - 75,000 pro rata plus package

A well-known Private Equity backed restaurant business with a fast-growing retail brand is recruiting a Commercial Finance Manager on a contract basis. The contract has real potential to go permanent but candidates who can only commit for an initial 6 months are welcome to apply. This is a high-profile role supporting the CFO, other senior managers, and colleagues in operations and across the business.

The role will cover restaurant sites but also their popular consumer products brand, sold at food retailers. Revenue from this channel has grown rapidly during the pandemic and it is an exciting time to join the business.

You will support the non-finance departments by utilising PowerBI tools to create KPI reporting & key costs management reporting E.g. Food & Beverage revenue, operating costs and profitability.

You will manage, review and approve the production of daily, weekly and monthly revenue reporting and analysis for the business. Proactively provide financial and operational analysis and advice that will drive better operational performance. You will own and deliver analysis of actual vs target margins and cost trends. Partner with operational colleagues and deliver analysis of pricing strategies and revenue trends across the group to maximise revenue and profit conversion. You will attend and participate in the Financial Review Meetings alongside Operations, Procurement, New Product Development and Marketing. You will also work with colleagues on new site opening and refurbishments.

The successful candidate will be a highly commercial qualified accountant who can demonstrate a strong understanding of the consumer goods and restaurant industries. You will be able to start at short notice and work a minimum of 1 day per week in West London (more if you wish but otherwise based from home)
