Interim Finance Business Partner

A well-loved retailer is searching for an interim Finance Business Partner to join them in London on a full-time fixed term contract of 9-12 months. This role requires an immediate starter or someone on 1-2 weeks’ notice, and will be initially home working, although the view will be to be back in the office at the most appropriate moment.

This is an SME, PE backed business with multiple sites and multichannel, so therefore the ideal candidate would come from a similar trading environment and have experience in a similar, complex retailer. 

Key Responsibilities

The Finance Business Partner will be responsible for:

• Working closely and collaboratively with the Retail Operations team to business partner on FP&A, growth, strategy and post-covid recovery.
• Providing financial and analytical support to the operations team and assisting with ad-hoc financial support where needed.
• Analysis of business plans, performance, activities and targets.
• Developing and delivering operational budgets.
• Identification and analysis risks and opportunities in various business units.
• Identifying areas for streamlining and process improvements.
• Working to create strategic decisions and getting involved in a dynamic and growing business. 

Candidate Profile

Applicants to this Finance Business Partner role should demonstrate:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, CA, CIMA or ACCA).
• Passionate about retail and keen to progress a career in this area.
• Extensive commercial finance business partnering experience.
• This role is on the client's payroll and will be for 9-12 months.

Salary

On offer is a pro rata salary equivalent to up to £90,000 per annum, dependent on experience, plus an attractive benefits package.
