Interim Commercial Finance Business Partner - Trading Dept - June Start

Communicate are partnering with a long established PE backed retailer - cum - FMCG client as they look to bring on an Interim 9 month FTC contractor into the commercial accounting and trading team.

This role is a Commercial Finance Manager role and looking for a contractor who has held like for like roles given the nuances of the need. No direct reports - reporting into the Snr Commercial Finance Manager in the Commercial Finance and Global Finance Team.

Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

• Provide insightful input into the company's strategic plan and budget, providing the management team with insights and recommendations in relation to the financial numbers and variances
• Delivering value creation,
• Business partnering with Account Directors, Commercial Accounting, Channel Finance teams,
• Development of divisional operational KPI's with on-going reporting and analysis
• Provide finance and business support input to tendering and contract negotiation activities, as required
• Prepare business cases and provide financial support for new product introduction

Candidates will be qualified with significant post-qualified experience in relevant roles. Whilst sector experience is not a pre-requisite, candidates must be able to demonstrate their understanding of retail and the FMCG sector due to technicalities over the remit.
