A fantastic role within a huge global retail company has become available for a Qualified Financial Accountant to join the team on a 4 month fixed term contract. Ideal for a candidate with prior retail experience, who is immediately available and looking for their next contract.
The duties
- Ownership of all general ledger accounting, reviewing of fixed assets, control reviews for licensing and retail arm of business, balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparation of statutory accounts
- Management reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis
- Previous experience and sound understanding of stock systems, conducting reconciliations and general stock ledger journals
- Assisting wider team with preparation for annual external audit
The candidate
- Qualified ACCA/CIMA or equivalent
- Previous experience working within retail is highly desirable
- Proficient user of SAP software
- Possess a high level of attention to detail and 'hands on' approach
