In-House Accountant job with services company in King's Lynn


Hays are seeking applications from Qualified or Qualified by Experience Accountants, for an In-House Accountant job in King's Lynn.

As a key link between the accountants and the business, this role will be an integral part of the reporting function assisting in group reporting, regulatory reporting and other procedures across the business. You will consolidate all the accounts, prepare and upload trial balances, perform due diligence across key suppliers and review and approve invoices.

To be successful you will be an experienced accountant, able to take responsibility for the consolidation of month end operating results, and cash flow based on divisional submissions, alongside the analytical review of results against forecast and budget to identify risks and opportunities and liaising with the external accountants. In addition, you will be controlling the month end and year end procedures, performing daily balance sheet reconciliations, assisting with the VAT returns for all registered entities, checking all payment requests and ensuring adequate documentation, control accounting, maintaining fixed asset register, movement in work in progress and accrual and prepayments.
