Management Accountant

THE JOB:

The Management Accountant role supports the business in a number of areas. You will be responsible for producing a full set of management accounts on a monthly basis including all associated reports. With an analytical nature, you will be producing reports and providing insightful commentary to assist business decisions as well as managing budgets, forecasting, balance sheet reconciliation and cashflow. Alongside this, you will be an adaptable and approachable business partner, liaising with non-finance colleagues and stakeholders of all levels, explaining the numbers and driving efficiencies. You will also manage on a day-to-day basis a small team, being ultimately responsible for the team's performance.

THE PERSON:

The ideal candidate will be qualified ACCA, ACA or CIMA with experience of operating as a Management Accountant in a commercial environment. You will be technically capable and comfortable producing monthly management accounts and all associated reports and analysis as well as having first-class communication skills and the ability to communicate about financial topics to non-finance colleagues. A strong leader, you will have previous experience of managing a small team and the ability to help drive performance, both on an individual and team level.
