Group Tax Manager

Marks Sattin are delighted to be working in partnership with £200m Private Equity Backed Group to recruit a Group Tax Manager.

The business is a recent carve-out and as such the Group Tax Manager will be responsible for creating and overseeing an in-house tax function, playing a vital part in developing and implementing the tax strategy of the Group.

The role will report directly to the CFO and will require a great deal of autonomy and leadership. It is envisaged that the successful candidate be ACA/CTA qualified, will have trained in a large accountancy firm, and have had 4+ years corporate experience. Experience of working for a PE Group in the past is desirable but not essential.

Working closely with existing external advisors, as well as internal stakeholders across the finance function, the Group Tax Manager will ensure that tax compliance and reporting is well managed. In addition to this, the Group Tax Manager will also spearhead tax projects and act as an ambassador for the Group, communicating key initiatives and driving the message of the importance of sound group tax management.

The role will be based in their new offices which border North Yorkshire and North East, however full flexibility will be offered to the successful individual to manage their own time and work remotely, providing they are able to meet the needs of the business.
