Tax Semi Senior / Senior

You will be working within an innovative and growing team that offers both compliance and advisory services to corporate and private clients. This role would suit individuals based in either Manchester or Leeds as both are within commutable distance, and also offers the option to work from home some of the time.

This is a well-established and long-standing accountancy practice based in Huddersfield. The firm offers a number of business lines including financial services, trust and estates and tax. The tax team are looking to expand their numbers by hiring a technically strong individual who can bring a genuine can-do attitude

Description

The successful Tax Semi Senior / Senior will be responsible for but not restricted to:

• Preparing both personal and corporate tax returns
• Providing both compliance and advisory services
• Working on a varied portfolio of clients such as OMB's, sole traders and company directors
• Dealing effectively and confidently with both clients and HMRC
• Ad Hoc projects and specialist cases such as tax investigation work

Profile

The successful Tax Semi Senior / Senior will:

• Be partly or fully ACA/ATT/CTA qualified
• Have the ability to draw upon a strong theoretical background and apply this to practice
• Have the technical know-how to review the work of other colleagues to ensure accurate completion
• Have a genuine can-do and ambitious attitude

Package details:

• Market rate salary - circa £25,000 - £35,000
