Interim Senior Commercial Finance Manager

Communicate are partnering with a well-loved retailer in their search for an interim finance business partner to join them on an FTC.  This role requires an immediate starter/someone on 1 - 2 weeks notice, and will be initially home working, although the view will be to be back in the office at the most appropriate moment. 

This is an SME, PE backed business with multi sites and multi channel, so therefore the ideal candidate would come from a similar trading environment and have experience in a similar, complex retailer. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Working closely and collaboratively with the Retail Operations team to business partner on fp&a, growth, strategy and post-covid recovery
• Providing financial and analytical support to the operations team and assisting with ad-hoc financial support where needed
• Analysis of business plans, performance, activities and targets
• Develop and deliver operational budgets
• Identification and analysis risks and opportunities in various business units
• Identify areas for streamlining and process improvements
• Working to create strategic decisions and getting involved in a dynamic and growing business. 

Candidate Profile:

• Qualified accountant (ACA,CA,CIMA or ACCA)
• Passionate about retail and keen to progress a career in this area
• Extensive commercial finance business partnering experience
• This role is on the client's payroll and will be for 9 - 12 months.
