Your new firm
A Top 100 Firm of Chartered Accountants with a handful of offices across the UK are looking to recruit an Audit & Accounts Senior to join their Blackburn office. This job opportunity has arisen due to continued growth and new business wins and would suit a part qualified or recently qualified accountant who can demonstrate a strong grounding in audit. Both 4 or 5 days a week will be considered.

Your new role
As an Accounts & Audit Senior you will work in a split role weighted equally between audit and accounting assignments. You will be responsible for leading audit assignments and with the support of a manager you will assist with the planning, fieldwork and completion of the audit. You will also be responsible for preparing year end financial statements for a range of partnerships and limited companies along with the relevant tax computations. Full time or part time hours of 4 days a week will be considered.

What you'll need to succeed
The firm are looking to appoint a part qualified or recently qualified ACA / ACCA accountant who has worked within general practice for at least two accounting cycles and is able to operate as an audit semi senior. You will be responsible for liaising with clients on a regular basis and therefore must be able to demonstrate strong communication skills.
