Our client can’t help but feel you’ve clicked already, but you’ll want to find out more to see if you really want to ‘swipe right’, as they say.

If you’re looking for a treasury and financial planning and analysis leadership role with a bit of a difference and feel ready to take on your next challenge, then maybe this role is what you’ve been looking for. Here’s three things we think you should know:

  • You’ll be a big part of shaping and driving the future of our client with loads of scope and support for new ideas, innovation and progress.
  • You can work where, when and how you want with their hub, home, roam approach. No need to pick a job you can commute to over the one you really want.
  • It’s a role with meaning, so you’ll be making a real difference to thousands of customers’ lives with what you do.

So, what’s this Head of Financial Planning and Analysis and Treasury role all about then?

Their new Head of FP&A and Treasury will contribute to the achievement of the company's business objectives by providing clear advice and guidance on financial strategy.

They need a natural leader with enthusiasm and genuine passion for developing creative approaches to performance and growth along with plenty of treasury experience at a senior level.  You’ll also be truly commercial with experience of finance business partnering and leading teams towards high performance.

You’ll provide confident and clear leadership and direction, looking ahead to opportunities and risk and developing joined up business plans with leaders around the business.  You’ll be responsible for managing the treasury strategy, funding and leading business partners. A really interesting role with loads of scope to utilise your specialist expertise through relationship-building and communicating across the business.

You’ll already be a leader or be ready to take a step up with loads of commercial Finance experience. So, if you’re looking to join a customer-focused, dynamic organisation that does something that matters, then maybe we’re made for each other...

And what about them?

You might think of them as ‘just’ a housing provider, but they’re so much more than that. Yes, they own and manage nearly 20,000 homes (and counting) across Yorkshire and make it possible for current and future customers to have a place they’re proud to call home but we’re also all about making a positive difference in people’s lives. They are transforming our business by investing in people, processes and technology to deliver a consistently great experience for their customers.  This is one of a group of new leadership roles that have been created to make this happen.

Pssst. One of their values is ‘Be Yourself’. They’re passionate about inclusion and we’d love to hear from people from diverse backgrounds for this role.

The finer print

You’ll probably want to know we offer a salary of £70,177, 28 days annual leave plus public holidays, a generous pension scheme and plenty of other benefits.

Although this role is an agile, homeworking position, you’ll need to be prepared to travel to and within Yorkshire as required for the role.
