My client is a north London Secondary Academy looking to recruit an interim School Business Manager on an initial 6 month contract basis (through to January 2022.) This role works closely alongside the school Principal, leading the day-to-day financial and administration activities for the school, with the support of two members of staff in finance. You will take the lead in producing management accounts and month end reports; prepare meaningful budgets and forecasts ready to submission for both internal and external approval. You’ll produce various ad hoc financial and non-financial reports for review by the senior leadership team and take the lead on projects relating to the maximisation of income generation and financial efficiency.
To be considered for this 6 month contract role, you will be proactive and approachable, with experience of working within an Academy setting in a similar role an essential requirement. The roe is offered with a near immediate start date, but short notice periods will be considered.
