Semi-Senior Accountant

This role is suitable for an experienced AAT qualified Accountant with a minimum of 2-3 years' experience within a practice, who is looking to build on their knowledge of VAT, audit, bookkeeping and account management. The firm is a Cloud Accounting practice, so some experience in Cloud Accounting is desirable but not essential

The need for a Semi-Senior Accountant is due to substantial natural growth and the need maintain the high level of service they are known for.

Description

Joining as a Semi-Senior Accountant, based from the firms Tamworth office you will be preparing accounts, tax, bookkeeping, managing accounts and providing other general practice services, with an emphasis on building new client relationships while maintaining current relationships. You may be expected to occasionally help with Audits if needed, as well as help develop more junior members of staff. You will be supported by your team as well as the practice partners.

Profile

You will be AAT qualified, and either be looking to begin the ACCA or already studying. You will need a minimum of 2-3 years experience in an accountancy practice, alongside experience managing a variety of clients.

Job Offer

Salary circa £24,000 - £28,000 per annum depending on qualification status and experience. Study Support is also on offer for those wishing to complete their qualifications.
