Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working alongside a successful Manufacturing company based in Leeds as they look to appoint an experienced Credit Controller on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hardworking self-motivated and trustworthy Credit Controller as this will be a very varied position to cover cash collection, cash posting and maintenance of the ledger for allocated accounts.

Duties & Responsibilities of the Credit Controller will include:

* Regular customer contact by phone, fax and email
* Posting of cash received for allocated accounts
* Completion of daily call log
* Raising of manual invoices
* Maintain accurate and up to date customer details and account records
* Collection of overdue accounts
* Use of initiative and imagination to achieve targeted results, while promoting customer goodwill
* Make adjustments, handle queries and resolve problems within company guidelines and policy
* Creating new customer accounts on sage, checking all information given is correct, credit checking where necessary

The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experiences:

- At least 2 years experience working in a credit control function
- Ideally previously used Sage 1000
- Strong attention to detail/ very accurate in procedures
- Good time management skills
- A good level of competence in Microsoft Excel
- Strong work ethic to get involved with adhoc duties
