Our client is a niche retailer who are looking to hire an Assistant Accountant to join their team in West London.
The Role of Assistant Accountant
To maintain the accounts in an up to date, accurate and complete fashion. Reporting and processing support to the sales & customers services team.
Process sales invoices into system
Produce sales tracker report on a weekly basis
Analyse warehouse & logistics costs (monthly)
Process sales and cash receipts to the sales ledger
Process purchase and cash payments to the purchase ledger
Resolve customer and supplier queries
Perform account reconciliations
Credit control – chasing debtors and reconciliation with bank
Assist with general management accounting duties, prepayment and accruals
The Candidate for Assistant Accountant
Graduate, part-qualified or QBE
Experience in bookkeeping and account reconciliations
Demonstrable ability to learn new systems
Strong Excel skills to V-lookup and Pivot Table
