Your new firm
This Top 20 international firm of Chartered Accountants are seeking an ambitious audit professional to join their corporate services team as an Audit Assistant Manager based from their Manchester office. This is an exciting newly created job opportunity to support the growth and management of the audit portfolio.

Initially you will work remotely however when the offices open the firm will operate a hybrid working policy of 2+ days in the office.

Your new role
As an Audit Assistant Manager you will work with a varied corporate client base including OMBs, international businesses, UK based subsidiaries of foreign companies, group structures and service industries. In this role you will manage a small portfolio of clients for which you will be responsible for managing the audit assignments and providing advisory services. You will also be responsible for senioring some of the more complex audit assignments and managing the on site audit team with involvement in assignments from planning through to completion.

Over time your portfolio will increase along with your advisory skills and you will progress into an Audit Manager.

What you'll need to succeed
The firm are seeking commercially astute qualified accountants (ACA / ACCA) ideally with at least one year post qualified experience who can demonstrate a proven track record of leading audit assignments and supervising junior staff. Stepping into this Audit Assistant Manager role you must be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic and good organisational skills.
