Your new firm
I am working with a regional firm of Chartered Accountants who are looking to grow their offering in Manchester with the appointment of a Manchester office. Their Manchester partner has a portfolio of clients and is looking to build a team to help service these clients and also grow their Manchester offering. The firm are looking to appoint an Audit & Accounts Manager to support the partner and help to develop a team.

Your new role
As the Audit & Accounts Manager you will report into the partner and be responsible for the day to day management of the portfolio of clients, consisting of OMBs, group structures, solicitors and family owned businesses. You will be responsible for planning, overseeing and reviewing the completion of both audit and accounting assignments and acting as a key contact for clients, arranging and attending year end meetings. You will work closely with the partner on the firms strategic growth plan with involvement in networking, business development, client enquiries tenders and onboarding.

What you'll need to succeed
The firm are seeking an experienced ACA / ACCA qualified manager who has ideally worked within a varied audit and accounting role however Top 10 applications will also be considered. You must be able to demonstrate a proven track record of managing a large portfolio of clients and managing and developing strong client relationships. You will be responsible for managing and mentoring the team so leadership skills are also important.
