A reputable independent firm of Chartered Accountants based in Altrincham are looking to recruit an experienced Accounts & Audit Senior to join their team as a Senior Accountant. This is a great opportunity to join a well established team and gain a varied role which offers a good level of autonomy. Your new role
As an Senior Accountant you will report directly into the partners and be responsible for the hands on management and completion of a range of audit and accounting assignments. Day to day tasks will include the preparation, finalisation and submission of accounts and the undertaking of audits from planning through to completion. Your portfolio will be varied and include both corporate clients and academies and this is a client facing role whereby you will be responsible for liaising with your clients via phone, email and during meetings ensuring strong relationships are maintained. The firm will consider full time hours, four days a week or reduced working hours across five days.

What you'll need to succeed
The firm are seeking an experienced accountant who preferably has some audit experience. Your portfolio can be weighted between audit and accounts to suit your own skill set with anything from 30% audit through to 75% audit assignments. Reporting directly into the partners you must be able to work autonomously and demonstrate strong communication and organisational skills. Ideally you will live locally to Altrincham and be ACA / ACCA qualified however QBE applicants will also be considered.
