Group Financial Controller

Communicate are currently working with a FTSE small-cap listed construction/business services company that are fast becoming a market leader within their sector. Our client is seeking to hire a talented and professional Group Financial Controller in order to help them continue to invest in their infrastructure and assist in growing their financial accounting team. This one-of-a-kind opportunity will appeal to a qualified and energetic Financial Controller who is looking to work in a team-orientated and dynamic business environment with other like-minded professionals. 

The Group Financial Controller will cultivate strong connections with the company’s regional finance teams and key stakeholders, and will foster a culture of technical excellence throughout the organisation, and will in turn be reporting into the group CFO. The candidate will also be responsible for the management of the Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) group consolidation platform and management team.   

The successful candidate will be an ACA/ACCA qualified individual and will have demonstrable post qualified experience. The candidate will have a strong grasp of knowledge on IFRS technical matters and will be a highly motivated self-starter with strong interpersonal, analytical and team building skills. The candidate would preferably have experience within the construction/business services space and have prior exposure to managing finance systems and group accounting.
