Our client, an international technology company, is looking to recruit a newly created Head of Accounting & Financial Reporting role following restructure of its finance team.
The Head of Accounting & Financial Reporting is one of the key direct reports to the Financial Controller with complete ownership of the reporting of actuals from both a management and statutory accounting perspective, acting as the key owner of accounting policy and practice within the department and being key liaison with the external and internal audit functions.
In this role, you will undertake the preparation of statutory financial statements for the holding companies together with monthly consolidation for the Group, including production of the financial numbers for the quarterly investor report and act as technical lead on all financial accounting matters. You will have regular liaison with the CFO and senior management team, including the Head of FP&A and Head of Investor Relations, as well as being the main point of contact with the outsourced overseas transactional accounting team.
Applicants should be fully qualified and ideally have trained within practice and gained strong post-qualification experience within a Group finance position of an international business. Due to team management, people should have held responsibility for others in previous roles.
