Financial Accountant

My client, an investment firm based in central London, is looking for a Financial Accountant to join their outstanding team and work closely with the Financial Controller. The main responsibilities for this role will include, but not be limited to:

• Assisting the Head of Financial Accounting in all aspects of financial accounts and reconciliations
• Group monthly reporting
• Ownership of the balance sheet
• Assist the Head of Financial Accounting in the designing, planning and implementing any ad-hoc projects for streamlining the financial accounting function
• To ensure the financial ledgers are reconciled on a periodic basis and the maintenance of key controls.

The ideal candidate for this role will be fully qualified with a strong practice background and from a Big 4 Practice.  As this role involves a lot of interpersonal skills, someone with a bit of natural gravitas would be ideal.
