Farrer Barnes is currently recruiting for a very prestigious services business with a national reach and fantastic reputation. This would be a great move for anyone with previous experience working as an FD within a services business.
This role will oversee the accounts team whilst remaining fairly hands on. You will be responsible for every aspect of the finance function from setting the annual budget to handling and advising on future mergers and acquisition. You will be preparing reports and advising on strategy in regular board meetings as well as to various international counterparts.
The ideal candidate for this role will be fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, ACMA) and have previous experience within a services business. Good interpersonal skills are a must for a role like this and someone with a strong leaning towards IT would also be preferable.
