Financial Controller

Axon Moore are exclusively partnering with a high-quality service provider who are looking for a Financial Controller to cover for a period of 3-4 months.

As Financial Controller you will be responsible for the day to day finance across 3 sites, managing a small team and working with the external accountants in all year end matters.

Responsibilities as the Financial Controller will include:

• Managing the finance team including purchase ledger, sales ledger, credit control and treasury
• Producing monthly management accounts
• Inter company recharges / loan accounts
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Analysis of Payroll
• Monthly VAT returns

We are ideally looking for a qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) who is available at short notice.  This is a hands-on Financial Controller role that involves the running of an established team, that need guidance from time to time while you prepare monthly reports and analysis to support the business.  To be successful in the role, you must be detail orientated, commercially minded, and comfortable managing a team.  The role is offered on a temporary basis for 3-4 months, there is an opportunity to convert the role to a permanent position.
