FINANCE MANAGER - PE BACKED PUBLISHER - LONDON - £60,000
Client Details
A rapidly growing publishing business based in Central London are looking to appoint a robust and qualified accountant to cover a 12-month maternity leave. My client recently went through a sale and have now been bought by a well known private equity firm and have ambitious plans to grow the business.
Description
Reporting into the Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the following:
- Taking ownership of the full month end process
- Managing the general ledger
- Ownership of the monthly accounts which includes the P&L, balance sheet, cash flow forecasts and KPI's
- Maintain strong financial control of the balance sheets, in particular deferred revenue and accrued income
- Leading the year-end audit process
- Preparation of budget and forecasts
- Business partnering with senior stakeholders in the business
Profile
- Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA or oversea's equivalent)
- Robust and adaptable to change
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Immediately available
