Are you a Finance Analyst looking to make your first step outside of practice?  We are currently looking for a first class candidate to join our rapidly expanding FTSE250 business. 

We are a multi-award-winning housebuilder that operates nationally across 16 regions and 3 timber frame factories.  The recently created Partnerships Midlands Division operates across 5 regions from East Midlands to Bristol/South West. Right now, as part of our continued growth plans, we are seeking to recruit a Finance Analyst to join the team based out of our regional offices in Enderby, Leicester. 
 

About the role

This is an excellent opportunity to join the newly created Partnerships Midlands Hub, part of a highly ambitious FTSE250 business with significant growth aspirations centred on the Midlands Division.  

As a Finance Analyst you will take a lead role in preparing the month end journals and reporting while providing support and insight for Regional and Divisional Management.   You will become part of a team of high quality individuals which forms the backbone of consistent, timely and accurate financial information in support of decision making by senior management.

You will also work closely with our Assistant Finance Analysts, reviewing their work and aiding their development through coaching and mentoring.

Joining at this point in the process allows an opportunity for an individual to help shape the way in which the Hub operates.

Ideally having trained within the big 4 you will be keen to develop yourself and your role.  You will have strong technical skills, good attention to detail and be able to utilise analytical tools to provide insight to senior management.  You’ll be great at relationship building with your Regional FDs and also be comfortable with challenging assumptions and ensuring adherence to group policies.

The role will be predominantly based at the Hub in the East Midlands but candidates will need to be willing to visit the geographical regional teams as required (subject of course to government restrictions on travel).   Flexibility is key in order to deliver to key deadlines, especially during the time pressures of the month end process.
