Based in London our client seeks an Investment & Strategic Partnerships Associate to join their commercial team.

This job would suit an enthusiastic individual with an excellent attention to detail who can work well in a fast-paced environment and gain exposure to a broad range of company workstreams. They will play a central role is helping to develop the business as they undergo an intense growth period.

Our client is embarking on a fast-growing journey with exciting technology in the waste management sector which will enable us to recycle more plastic.

The successful individual will be fluent in English and at least one other major European Language (German, French, Italian, Spanish, Polish), with Strong academics - 2:1 / equivalent or above. They must have worked in either an Energy, Oil and Gas, Infrastructure or Utilities projects. Strong excel and Powerpoint skills, with financial modelling experience in DCF/NPV valuation. A minimum or 2 years' experience in an investment professional environment is desired.

Job responsibilities:

• Will be responsible / involved in the development of detailed financial models to accurately value investment opportunities for projects
• Candidate can expect to have a hands-on role in the development of projects
• Candidates will also be responsible for conducting various business development meetings with strategic stakeholders, to deliver the company's growth plan
• Ability to draft company presentations and Information Memorandum for strategic and financing purposes
• Drafting investment papers putting forward key risks, mitigations, and investment recommendations
• Undertake market research on competitive activities, new products, and industry trends
