Finance Business Partner

A global manufacturer is looking for a Finance Business Partner to join its team in Warrington for a full-time, permanent role. This role will be an integral part of the UK Finance function and will provide key support to the continued growth of the group. As the company is experiencing high volumes of work, Finance Business Partner applicants with immediate availability would be preferred.

Your New Role

You will work in close partnership with senior management to provide comprehensive financial reporting and analysis updates. Delivering financial support to commercial decision-making across the business, you will drive continuous process improvement to identify cost-savings and develop efficiencies wherever possible. Key duties of the Finance Business Partner will include:

• Being the leading point of contact for Business Unit management, working in close partnership to provide accurate, timely and comprehensive financial reporting and analysis.
• Delivering monthly revenue recognition and fee analysis, ensuring exceptions are reviewed to ensure accuracy in line with revenue recognition procedures and policy.
• Monthly preparation of financial performance reporting, providing commentary to explain variances and identify any future risk or opportunities.
• Providing reforecasting models to monitor progress against current target.
• Preparation of annual budget P&L, Balance Sheet and cashflow for future. Working alongside budget holders to build detailed models and scenarios based on target margins set by the Board.

About You

Applications are invited from Finance Business Partners who demonstrate:

• ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualified
• Working technical knowledge of reporting standards and management accounting techniques 
• Competent in use of Excel Modelling
