Due to exciting growth plans, our exclusive client seeks to appoint a Part Qualified Accountant to join their management team as Finance Manager and play a key role in their future. This business is a fantastic local success story - established for almost 20 years, strong balance sheet and current turnover of £5m looking to double in size over the next 5 - 7 years. This should appeal to an ambitious part qualified Accountant with a keenness to qualify, the confidence to take ownership for the finance function and a entrepreneurial streak!
The remit of your role will be varied and will include:
- Management of the small finance function ensuring that financial controls are in place to facilitate growth
- Develop a regular management accounts pack and prepare budgets and forecasts
- Deliver meaningful management information to enable the management team to understand key drivers, and better understand project profitability and margins and help to focus the sales function
To be considered for this role you should be actively studying towards professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA) with solid experience ideally within an SME environment. Experience of an accounting package such as Sage or Xero is also required in addition to a confident communication style. Specific experience within a construction related business would be advantageous.
This is a truly exciting prospect to be a key part of a business in high-growth mode. In addition to a competitive salary this role offers a study support and a bonus structure.
