Financial Reporting Manager

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role will facilitate the development of group reporting skills within a global finance function. The finance team is considered central to the success of the business with an aim is to proactively drive business value through informed and insightful decision making. The finance team work in close partnership with the business and are agile and responsive to business needs whilst maintaining a transparent system of effective standards, processes and controls.

• Preparation of the interim and annual external financial reporting, including the annual report
• Drafting of technical accounting papers
• Act as a key contact for the external auditors
• Monthly group consolidation, liaising with the finance teams in the UK and overseas including the monthly intercompany reconciliation with the management of the intercompany recharges and settlement
• Prepare the monthly group results and finance board report
• Develop group reporting with all the tools available, being the go-to person for all aspects of finance reporting
• Review existing processes around reporting with the goal of improving procedures and enhancing automation to improve efficiency whilst ensuring accuracy and consistency
• Special projects as requested by the Financial Controller

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Accountant (ACA)
• Experience in technical financial accounting (in practice or industry) with up to date IFRS accounting knowledge
• Experience of acquisition accounting
• A working knowledge of multicurrency consolidations
• Knowledge of share based payments
