Your new role
A key Management Accountant role, reporting to the Head of Finance. You will be responsible for:
The preparation of Management accounts to the relevant accounting standards, procedures and controls. Preparing financial statements attributable to cost centre and divisional managers. Reconciling actual and forecast sales and cost of sales. The calculation of standard contribution forecasts. Analysis of variances to budget, prior to submission of management accounts to relevant stakeholders. Liaising with sub ledger stakeholders to ensure base accuracy of data presented at general ledger level, through to senior manager review. The review of balance sheet reconciliations to identify potentials risks, ensuring business unit awareness on a monthly basis. Providing relevant information for Internal and External Audits. Working closely with the FP&A Team to provide relevant information needed to prepare budgets and forecasts. Supporting both financial and business specific projects, providing relevant information to allow stakeholders to make proactive decisions. You will take an active role in specific project initiation, planning, and execution.


What you'll need to succeed
You will be a fully qualified accountant or finalist, with extensive management accounting experience and excellent communication skills. You will have strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and good attention to detail, to be able to achieve deadlines and provide meaningful reporting information. Commercially astute, with exposure to business processes and an understanding of the relationship between operations and the P&L.
You will be able to start at short notice.
